Qi Gong is a term referring to a broad family of exercises originating in ancient and modern China whose purpose is the cultivation of vital energy. This ongoing series of drop-in classes will involve the instruction and practice of ancient as well as modern forms of energy cultivation for the purposes of increasing health and peace of mind. No experience is required. The class is offered in English, with some translation in French where possible. |

vinyasa flow with rhetta

Vinyasa yoga calms the mind through the synchronization of movement with breath. The class is based on the Ashtanga Primary Series, with a focus on core strength and safe alignment. Flow classes are relatively vigorous, as the heat generated purifies the body, and deep relaxation can be found following the release of tensions in the body. This class is suitable for students of all levels, with variations given for more challenging postures. French translation is available on request! |
