miranda[Miranda] she who is admired.

I was born in Montreal in nineteen eighty four to a Canadian pop and American mama. I grew up in Connecticut then returned north for university in Kingston, Ontario.

I spent the last four years wandering the Earth with yoga as a rudder and haven.

Now, back in Montreal, I relish the opportunity to share this passion of mine with a new community. Yoga transformed my life and filled my soul with light - an experience I strive to guide my students toward during each and every practice I lead.

[Rhetta] strength, resolute, right action.

My own experience of the healing power of yoga inspired me to teach this
ancient method of health and living, both on the mat and beyond.  I
discovered yoga from a video in high school, and it has slowly come to hold
a central place in my life.  I received my Yoga Teacher Training from Mark,
Joanne and Shankara Darby of Sattva Yoga Shala in 2009, where I continue my
daily practice in the Ashtanga tradition.  Following completion of my M.Sc.
in Biochemistry at McGill in 2010 I traveled and studied yoga in India for
five months. My training in therapeutic yoga with Carina Raisman has helped
me unite my science and yoga backgrounds as I continue to explore the
healing path.  Adapting my knowledge to each individual’s needs, I work
with students to explore their body through breath, movement, and stillness.

[Leah] delicate.

Leah R. Vineberg is a Buddhist Meditation practitioner and Yoga Teacher, trained in the Kripalu, Yin, and Iyengar traditions. She has had the great fortune of being able to study directly with truly inspiring teachers, for whom she feels much love and respect and to whom she feels forever grateful: Ken McLeod, Ani Pema Chodron, Hart Lazer, Sharon Salzberg, Sarah Powers and Tim Olmsted.

[Kevin] gentle.

As a shiatsu therapist, Kevin Lennox has been studying Chinese Medicine since 2007. Impressed by the results of daily qi gong practice on his own health, he is inspired to share these tools with everyone who is interested. Kevin brings humour, diligence, and care into his teaching. His goal as an instructor is to inspire others towards greater awareness of themselves, their effect on others, and a direct experience of the energy that holds us all together. He continues to study with Paul Fraser, and Master Ou Wen-Wei.

[Sylvie Anne] forest of grace.

SylvieAnne

Sylvie Anne has been a passionate yoga practitioner for a decade.  In 2011, she spent time in San Francisco deepening her practice and was awed and inspired by her many teachers there.  She continues to practice, sing, dance, read, eat, sleep and live yoga as much as possible, each day.  It is with humility and gratitude that she now continues to fall in love with the practice through teaching yoga in Montreal.  Grounded in yoga philosophy, her classes emphasizes alignment, breath, self-observation, fun and a healthy balance of physical challenge with deep reflective rest.  For more thoughts and to find ideas and tools to bring a yogic practice to life off the mat, check out her blog.
